Snow Melt Systems
Ice dams can unfortunately form quite easily in the mountain winters. Causes include inadequate insulation and the melt/ freeze cycle of the afternoon sun. Standing water will exist above the ice dam and no matter how new your roof is, that water will eventually find its way inside. Heat cable is an option to allow drainage channels through the ice dam. If you have a problem with ice dams give us a call for your options.
